Kazakhstan to boost oil production within OPEC + by 20 thousand barrels per day

Astana. March 5. KazTAG - Kazakhstan will boost  oil production under the OPEC + agreement by 20 thousand barrels per day, reports the Ministry of Energy.
“For Kazakhstan and Russia, separate conditions were agreed, providing for a further increase in production in this period by 20 thousand barrels per day and 130 thousand barrels per day, respectively,”  reads the statement.
The liabilities of Kazakhstan under OPEC + deal will amount to 1.457 million barrels per day in April, or -15% of the base level in November 2018 - 1.709 million barrels per day.
The member-states of the agreement resolved to extend the current level of oil production cuts by April 2021.
The Minister of Energy of Kazakhstan Nurlan Nogayev, speaking at the meeting, stated positive dynamics in the fight against the spread of coronavirus, and a gradual recovery in demand for oil and petroleum products.
