Mediator about youth quota on party lists: 60 years old deputies in Kazakhstan are tired of life

Astana. February 10. KazTAG - Sara Ydyrysova, director of the union of mediators Kolisu, has proposed to conduct regeneration in the Parliament.
"I disagree that deputies must have good experience. You work with the parliament, you know, many deputies, great deputies sleep at the session, you can see it on the internet. Thus, I believe we need regeneration of the Parliament. And those people aged 60, 70, should not take deputies’ seats, apart from some rare exceptions. These people are tied of life. They can do other things with their rich experience," she said on Monday at the session of public council under the Ministry of Justice, replying to the statement of Serik Akylbay, chairman of the council, that "deputies must have riche experience".
