Ministry of Health must determine intervals between the first and second doses of coronavirus vaccine

Astana. May 18. KazTAG - Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin has instructed the Ministry of Health to determine the intervals between receiving the first and second components of the coronavirus vaccine.

“We must continue working to increase vaccination coverage in the regions. Akims keep this issue under special control. At the same time, those who wish should have the right to choose the vaccine and receive relevant information. The Ministry of Health must clearly define the intervals between vaccinations and respond to the requests and wishes of the population, ”Mamin said.
According to the Minister of Health, Aleksey Tsoi, changes were made to the resolution of the chief sanitary doctor of Kazakhstan, allowing vaccination with the second component of the Sputnik V vaccine in the interval between 21 and 90 days.
