Parliament adopts amnesty law in Kazakhstan

Astana. December 2. KazTAG – Parliament has adopted the law "On amnesty in connection with the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
“The amnesty is aimed at exempting from punishment for crimes of small and medium gravity and reducing the term of punishment for some grave, especially grave crimes. The amnesty applies to veterans, minors, the elderly, disabled people of the first and second groups, persons who do not pose a public danger, "  said Yerlan Turgumbayev , Interior Minister.
