According to the statistics committee of the Ministry of National Economy, the average monthly salary was 402 504 tenge in the financial and insurance sector in the 4th quarter 2019, while in the field of education- it was 140 185 tenge.
Estimating the growth rates of salaries, in the mining industry and quarrying it amounted to 362 036 tenge in the 4th quarter 2017, 390 364 tenge in 2018, 428 269 tenge in 2019, i.e. 15.5% up; in financial and insurance sector- it was 316 052 tenge, 364 731 tenge, 402 504 tenge (+21.5%); in education - 101 108 tenge, 107 963 tenge, 140 185 tenge (+27.9%). Despite high growth rates, the average monthly salary of teachers has been three times lower than the salary of miners
The average salary of workers in industrial sector amounted to 280 435 tenge in the fourth quarter 2019, in information and communications - 277 989 tenge, in construction field - 256 602 tenge, in transport and warehousing - 248 645 tenge, in administration and assistance - 226 721 tenge.
The lowest salary was in the sector of agriculture, forestry and fishing- 127 283 tenge in the 4th quarter 2019.
