Schools in Nur-Sultan lack of 25 000 places

Astana. October 8. KazTAG- The schools in Nur-Sultan lack of 25 000 places, said Altay Kulginov, akim of Astana.
"The main task is to resolve the question of deficit of 25 000 places at schools. There are three shifts in eight schools today," he said at the session for development of the capital.
In his words, 295 000 children aged under 15 live in the capital today.
"It is more than the population of Tselinograd. We have 112 schools for 183 000 children today. This year  9000 schoolchildren graduated from schools, 24 000 children came to the first grade on September 1," he added.
