“A single distributor purchases 44 names of demanded medicines for COVID-19 in the amount of T8.2 billion, which will be enough for treatment of about 60 thousand patients in hospitals per month," he said.
As of October 15, 37 types of medicines were purchased worth 5.92 billion tenge.
"This measure will create a reserve for drugs for coronavirus treatment for the second wave and smooth out the problems with planning needs and morbidity," he said.
