Subsoil users owe 456 mln tenge to budget in East Kazakhstan region

Ust-Kamenogorsk. November 22. KazTAG - Subsoil users in the East Kazakhstan region owe 456 mln tenge to the budget by the results of three years.
"Violating the contract liabilities on socio-economic and infrastructure development of the region, 69 subsoil users owe 456 mln tenge to the budget by the results of three years," said the prosecutor's office of the East Kazakhstan region.
According to the report, gold producing company at Bolshevik deposit has to pay 42 mln tenge for development of the social sector in the region in 2018, but failed to do this.
"The measures for lands re-cultivation and rehabilitation of natural layer of soil are not performed, ecological legislation is violated. This situation is permanent, despite the fact that about 15-20 contracts are annually cut off for this reason in the region, while only one or two subsoil users re-cultivate the land," said the prosecutor's office.
One company illegally operated at Kyzyl Tas site in Kurchumskiy district. The company had no licenses and constructs for subsoil works.
