According to Vitaliy Yaroshenko, chairman of the committee, sale of SIM-cards registered under the names of other people, violates the rules of cellular communications services and poses potential risks for their purchasers.
"If one buys a Sim-card and is not offered to register it, it means it had been registered for another person. It may be deactivated at any time by the request of the real proprietor," he said.
