Volume of oil flow through the CPC oil pipeline is planned to be increased to 72.5 million tons in Kazakhstan

Astana. December 1. KazTAG – It is planned to increase the volume of oil in Kazakhstan pumped through the oil pipeline of the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) to 72.5 million tons.
“Shareholders reviewed the implementation of the program to eliminate bottlenecks in the CPC pipeline system. After its completion, the throughput capacity of the Tengiz-Novorossiysk oil pipeline will be increased to 72.5 million tons through the territory of Kazakhstan and up to 83 million tons per year through the territory of Russian.
Oil shipment at the CPC Marine Terminal reached 49.8 million tons as of November 15 (51.8 million tons for the same period in 2021). From the beginning of 2022 to mid-November, 448 tankers were handled in Yuzhnaya Ozereevka.
VPU-1 and VPU-2 are in working condition and have been put into operation.
